2014 Student Government Board Elections Results
The results of the 2014 Student Government Board Election are as follows:

Andrew Abboud, Board, 1147 votes
Brandon Benjamin, Board, 1064 votes
Graeme Meyer, Board, 1037 votes
Sara Klein, Board, 906 votes
Mona Kazour, Board, 887 votes
Jake Radziwon, Board, 884 votes
Abby Zurschmit, Board, 829 votes
In all, three candidates were elected from the Forward Slate, three from the Three Rivers Slate and two from the Pitt Gold Slate. Jake Radziwon ran as an independent candidate.
According to Student Government Board Elections Chairman Aaron Gish, voter turnout was 13.7 percent, with 2520 votes cast.
The referendum to approve modifications made to the Student Government Board’s Constitution was passed. 1613 students voted “yes” 95 and voted “no.”
The referendum to raise the minimum GPA required for Student Government Board candidates from 2.50 to 2.75 was passed 1468 students voted “yes” and 357 voted “no.”
The referendum to amend the number of candidates for which a student can vote from five to three was passed 1080 students voted “yes” and 612 voted “no.”
